Judy Goddard - Muralist

Last autumn, kinda out of the blue, I was approached to paint two murals in a local church’s nursery rooms. Each wall was approximately 7 feet by 8 feet.

Both rooms are for toddlers.
One mural depicts children sitting under a tree and listening to Jesus read them a story.  There are animals that listen in too;
A cat, a mouse, a raccoon, a deer a horse more.

The other mural depicts Jesus with wild animals from all over the world;
A lion, a zebra, a lama, a panda, a fox and more.

I used latex house paint mostly with small bottles of Apple Barrel acrylic for the fine details.

I was given two weeks to complete the project and I worked on it on my own.
It was hard work! I put in lots of long hours, but I got it done and my customer was very happy!

I'm really proud of the work I did!

When I do my next mural I will figure in money to hire help!
